Hi, I'm Ben Clements, a first-year broadcast digital journalism major at Syracuse University with a passion for sports media.
For as long as I can remember, I've loved sports. Some of my earliest memories are of myself pretending to be a broadcaster while me and my brother played basketball. I played soccer my entire childhood and spent days upon days cheering on Boston sports teams.
In high school, I discovered a true passion for play by play broadcasting. I started calling girls soccer games in my sophomore year, and by the time I was a senior, I was the lead play by play voice of just about every team at my school. Fast forward to today, and I'm gaining valuable reps as a broadcaster at one of the nation's elite sports journalism schools, Syracuse University. In the summer of 2026, I'm interning with the Worcester Bravehearts to call play by play baseball in one of the country's top collegiate baseball summer leagues. I’m excited to continue telling stories and pursuing my passion: sports media.
